Hubby and I decided to be Aziraphale and Crowley for Halloween -- the main characters from Good Omens by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman.
Crowley, a fallen angel, needed black wings and Aziraphale, a bookish good angel, needed white. After a long search for decent feathers we wound up spending the last few days of the month putting the wings together, but we were both happy with how they turned out!

Hubby's are a little raggedy, but he felt that was a better reflection of his character than nice smooth wings.
