All told, I only got about 20,000 words done this year for Nanowrimo. However, all that writing was for a novel I had begun several years ago. I've continued to work on it this month and have just about finished it.
All-in-all, not bad.
The novel is going to need tons of work and several drafts of edits. I've worked on it in fits and starts since 2008. At this point, I'm sure it is massively disjointed and will need an overhaul (or three).
But first up for editing is last year's Nanowrimo novel. Finally got someone to read it and give me fantastic feedback. But it too needs a lot of work.
